How are cookies used on uia.no?

Google Analytics UiA also uses Google’s analytics tools, Analytics and Tag Manager, to gain insights into usage patterns on the website.

When searching the website, the search terms are stored. These are linked to anonymized user patterns.

The information collected is processed according to Google’s privacy policy (external link). UiA does not track users’ IP addresses. Cookies are stored on users’ devices for up to two years, depending on their purpose.

Embedding Content from Other Websites On certain pages, we embed content we’ve published on other platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, and Issue. UiA has no involvement with any data that may be collected through these, and the owner of the platform is considered the data controller.
